KMSC is fortunate enough to be interviewing this wonderful hip hop group from the Middle East!
‘It took death to get here’ is how The Recipe would describe their journey. Found in Dubai in 2008 the group consists of 3 MC’s that represent 6 countries and their album ‘Funerals & Purgatory’ features the likes of Talib Kweli and Spark Master Tape.The singles to the album have received praise from the likes of Paul Rosenberg (Shady/Goliath) and other prominent figures in the industry.
You can check it out on dragonradio.org, on the dial at 1500am or Dragon Channel 97.5 and 98.1 in the residence halls of MSUM.
