Unfortunately, the live stream for KMSC will be down until the middle of August when we get the station up and running again for the school year.  We apologize for any inconvenience/disappointment.  We will have it up and running as soon as possible!

KMSC will be closing down for the summer, due to the station being relocated to Flora Frick Hall room 243 and 239. We ask that no physical CDs be sent to the station during the period of May 4th, 2015- August 18th, 2015. Our plan is to be in the new station by the beginning of August, so that we are good to go once school starts back up on August 24th.

Our new heads of staff for the coming school year will be checking the email periodically throughout the summer, so responses may be delayed. Be on the look out for a contact phone number during this period, which will hopefully be posted by the end of next week once we have moved our office into a temporary location for the summer.

We had a great 2014-2015 year and can’t wait to be in a new station continuing KMSC’s legacy this next school year!

KMSC will be moving from the Comstock Memorial Union to Flora Frick Hall this summer. We will officially be closing down KMSC on May 1st and will be doing our last charting at CMJ on May 4th.

We are very excited to be moving near the Mass Communication department and hope to build KMSC in the next year.

We are super excited to be starting up a new semester here at KMSC. We will be doing our first chart on January 26th and are super excited to see what amazing music this year has in store for us! I personally am super excited for a new Brandi Carlile album as well as Father John Misty’s new album! Our DJ’s are slowly, but surely getting back into the swing of things and I’ve seen a couple DJ’s already pop their heads in at the station here. If you would like to join in and become a DJ feel free to fill out the application form and bring it to the station! We will have an all DJ meeting here in a week or so and will post the information when it is ready!

KMSC Dragon Radio took part in Trunk or Treat last October 30th. A special thanks to Station Director Kate Hildahl, DJ Jake Antolak, and DJ Tyrel Filley for dressing up as the Scooby gang, and helping dish out Scooby-Doo fruit snacks to all the kids who showed up.
